Agioi Treis
Single-room, timber-roofed basilica with later additions on the north and south sides in the form of open porticoes. When these additions were made, the west side of the church was also repaired. The interior of the church was inscribed. However, the frescoes were covered with lime, perhaps after the liberation from the Turks. Attempts were made to uncover the frescoes by restorers, and as a result, apart from some figures of Saints, the dedicatory inscription was revealed. The frescoes were created in 1401.
The frescoes are contemporary with the construction of the church. The repair of the west side and the modern construction of the open porticoes bear characteristics of the 19th century. During this intervention a partial repair was made to the roof of the church. The painting is of good quality and provides excellent information about the art of Kastoria in the early 15th century. It is commemorated in memory of the three saints Gouriou, Samonas and Avivos. In the iconostasis there is an icon of the Virgin Mary of Portaitissa, dated 1701.
