Agia Paraskevi (of Krepeni)

In the wider area of Mavrochori, an area of first residence has been developed, which is the settlement of Krepeni. Krepeni is a newly established settlement, with progressive development, since reconstruction in the area began in the 1970s. It is located on a site on the south-eastern side of the city of Kastoria. In this area, the visitor, while touring the villages surrounding the Lake of Kastoria (Orestiada), can find, on the main road of the settlement, the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi. The church of Agia Paraskevi is relatively modern as a building.

Built in an area full of nature, the visitor can combine the pilgrimage to the Holy Church with a visit to the specially designed area opposite the church. In the grassy and tree-filled area, there are pavilions and benches as well as several barbecues to accommodate your picnics and outings.
